Do u accept or follow-Hows ur choice made???

Had the same previous discussion...... about "making the choice"
We had some points that popped out that days about how people choose a commodity and where they choose it from.....
Some of them were:-
Quality
Price
etc
On actual revisit to the topic,it actually revealed that there are many more aspects that must be considered in order to make a right choice...
Quality
Source-grown from fertilizers or organic farming
where do they come from?
who produces them and who are the people behind it
how do the people get affected from what we buy
and much more stuff...

A retail outlet actually stores them for about two days coz he has all the facilities like the cold storage and other storage facilities, while the local shop keeper does not have any chance of storing vegetables....so he must dispose them off on the same day he buys them from the source....So theres less chance of buying stale vegetables...

There are many more choices that can be made through analysis in this way.
The point is that when we just look at ourselves it appears as if we are developing but the thing is that only when we give importance to the next level, that is the people and the environment related to the commodity, the possibilty of deevlopment can be seen.

People these days are so mean about the life and the surroundings around them, they dont even know that they are ruining the place they live in.
There are some ways which we can actually know if we are making the right choice or not:
Know the source of the commodity we are are buying
Know who are actually involved in making it
Know if we are paying for the brand or for the quality
.....

How does it actually affect us??
Locally grown food does not have to be transported from place to place..so no waste of fuel....
Organically grown food does not contain any harmful chemicals which affect the human body...
now finding it is a bit difficult these days but yes...it can be found(fertilsers are already deteriorating the quality of soil)
It is not the brand owner who gets benefited by us but the poor little farmer and the local sabjiwala....
and there are many more points that can be considered for our choice in any commodity..

We even discussed about the food w actually chose to eat.
While we have samosa, puff, fruit salad, fruit juice etc...
which one do we actually choose to eat.
It turns out that most of the times we prefer taste over quality and purity of food.
This is something to be thought of by every one...

And so here ended the discussion leaving every one thinking about what they are doing is right or not

Betterment or Betrayal??

Monday 1st february
Human values
This is when we had a discussion regarding globalisation and opening up of Indian markets for the other nations of the world.
We had a discussion on"Did India really develop by its acts during late 80s".People thought it was a good job done by India through which it can develop at a faster pace and people can have a better life.
This an important thing to be noticed by all the citizens of India.
Yes india did develop but the difference between the rich and the poor had actually remained the same or rather had grown by the time we noticed it to be.
The thing to be noticed that ,yes India did grow but in accordance to a rather false parameter which actually soesnot account to the growth if seen closer.
How is this??
People from all ove the world who had big capital to invest in their bussiness came into India and then gradually started to become famous among the people.Local dealers neither manage their bussiness with a great amouint of margin nor do not publicise as much as the others do.
This turned into an important setback for the localites.
People became attracted towards the famous brands and then the local dealers became less famous as if they manufactured lower quality products.
If visualised properly there are a very few jeans brands which are Indian.
Sports wear is almost nil interms of Indian owned companies.
India doesnt even have a single sofware product company.
And even more.....
Many soft drink compaies are not Indian.
Another point of discussion was "Are we attracted towards famous products or quality products??"
sandals from a branded company come at a higher price than those of a local manufacturer.Even then people tend to go for a branded one.
This is some thing not to be accused of but has to be decided by the individual himself about what his choice has to be.
The whole point boils down to an inportant point:
"Are we trying to bring up the poor of the country or are we trying to make money for the rich man??"
Betterment or Betrayal....?
